Whiskeywoods was created by DFW-based visionary and proprietor Stephen Lamure to bring a “big city dining” experience to his hometown. Taking inspiration from Glen Rose (the Whiskeywoods capital of Texas) and Hill County (where moonshine was hidden during prohibition), Stephen developed the perfect concept for exceptional food, service and experience.

He asked Brian Knoy (Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse) to bring the best of his 17 years of experience to the strong and well-educated staff at Whiskeywoods. This includes our executive chef and culinary team cooking up creative dishes beyond the traditional steakhouse.
